Services / Concrete breaking

Breaking concrete, asphalt and masonry

Hydraulic breaker for concrete slabs, old foundations, asphalt paving and solid masonry. The debris is hauled away by dump truck.

Machine

excavator with hydraulic breaker

Typical depth

no digging

Typical time

half a day to two days

How it's done

The concrete is broken into pieces that fit in the dump truck and separated from the rebar. The steel is recycled separately, which lowers the hauling bill. When working next to another building, we check what takes the impact.

When we say no

We don't touch structures with visible signs of asbestos. Those need a licensed contractor.

What to know afterward

Breaking makes dust and noise. Warn your neighbors a day ahead — it saves conversations later.
